Hairstyle Makeovers - Top Tips To Recreate Your Hairstyle In Minutes

How To Give Your Hair A Fresh Look For Spring In Ten MinutesWe've been looking forward to Spring for a few weeks now, and one thing that says Spring to me is starting to wear some pretty coloured springtime clothes, and also having a a change of hairstyle for the new season - something to make me feel special. We don't always have the time or the money for a major hairstyle change, and what if we change it and then don't like it - it can be a waste of money as well as making you want to hide your head in a paper bag. So how about some easy makeover tips that allow you to change your hairstyle as you go, with no need for breaking the bank, or ruining your tresses with bleaches and tints. There are lots of little things we can do to create diffent looks and styles easily.Clip-In Highlighted Hair ExtensionsHave you noticed how celebrities are able to change their hair length from one moment to the next - they are using clip-in hair extensions. These can be clipped in and taken out easily for a versatile look, and are widely available from department stores.Low Shabby Chic BunI love this kind of look, I like to call it the shabby chic version of the tight ballerina bun which has been in style for the past few seasons. The low bun is pretty easy to achieve, run some serum through dry hair, then gather your hair into a low, loose ponytail, letting any face-framing locks fall around your face. Twist the pony tail around, then secure it with some hair pins, leaving it fairly roughed up. Use some diamante pins for a more glam style.Natural Curls RuleFor so long we have been heating and ironing our locks each day to create a perfect, smooth style, so perhaps now it's time to let your hair do it's own thing. If you have waves or curls, accentuate them by using a curling mousse or hair styling product and drying your hair with a diffuser. Curly hair needs to be kept moisturised to keep away the frizz. If your hair is very curly scrunch up your curls when you have washed your hair and leave to dry naturally, moving your hair around as little as possible to allow the curls to "set". It's amazing the difference this makes, if your friends are used to seeing you with straight hair, surprise them with your natural look.Pixie Hairstyle - Try It Without Cutting off Your LocksYou could call this the faux pixie look - we have seen many celebs going the whole "snip" and having their hair styled into the short, cropped pixie look such as Helen Mirren and Emma Watson. But if you like the look, but want to keep your tresses long you can create a temporary pixie style. Apply a serum to damp hair and blow dry smooth, then create a severe side parting and slick the hair back on the side of the parting using a hairbrush sprayed with hairspray. With the hair on the opposite side, pull it across your forehead, then start to twist the hair around above your ear, continue to the back of your head, and secure with hair grips or pins. Try and end the roll at the back of your ear on the other side, tuck in the ends and secure. Spritz with hairspray again to hold in place. If you have some tips or ideas on how to brighten up your hairstyle for Spring please leave your comments below for us to share.

History of DKNY handbags

DKNY stands for "Donna Karan New York" and is a diffusion line from the Donna Karan fashion label.

Donna Karan was born in New York Ny, America. in 1948. Her father was a haberdasher and her mother was a model so it's not all that surprising that Donna felt an attraction to style and fashion.. Unsurprisingly, she had an inherent fascination in fashion and design and once she was of sufficient age attended Parsons School of Design in New York City which is where other famous fashion designers were also trained. Donna Karan decided to leave Parsons to take up a job at the fashion label Anne Klein who at that moment were one of the biggest design organizations in the nation. But, when Anne Klein died in 1974, Donna Karan and Louis Dell'Olio were promoted to joint fashion designers for the label.

Around a decade later, in 1983, Donna launched completely new designer label also known as Anne Klein II. It was the 1st of it's type on the U .S fashion scene as it was the first bridge collection, linking fine quality, trend led garments to the general American public by lowering the sales price to a price that most people could now afford. 2 yrs later, Donna believed the time was right to unveil her own personal label and named it "Donna Karan New York".

"Donna Karan New York" earned plaudits from fashion critics and customers. Donna Karan's outfits were never brash but rather were more subtle and more significantly very, wearable. Donna planned to create a fashion collection with apparel that were for the most part easy to change with each other.

In the late 80's, Karan launched the "DKNY" fashion line. Karan's dream was to create a less expensive diffusion brand that mirrored the New York City street fashion look. The label was urban and inspired by the city and also became very succesful.

A range of accessories were launched from sunglasses to handbags. DKNY handbags are now one of the more popular products from the DKNY accessories collection integrating practicality with fashion and innovative design.
